The Beauty 5-string violin
This is one of my Titian Strad style 5-string violins. I nicknamed it “The Beauty” for its stunning one piece back and unique f-hole design. The design was a collaboration with the client, with lots of back and forth to figure out the exact cut to shape the unique look. I fell in love with this violin as I built it. The one piece back is cut on the slab, which provides a unique look to the grain and visual depth. The instrument sounds huge and lush and warm, just the way I like my violins to sound!
